By default, you will get a name for your new AirPods the first time you pair them with your iPhone. You can of course use a different name and here is how you can do it:
Step one: First off, you need to open the Settings app from your phone’s home screen. Once you are done, all you have to do is to tap on Bluetooth to proceed
Step two: You are now supposed to tap on the current default name of your new AirPods and tap on Name
Step three: Next up, you need to enter the name you want and hit the Back button

The new AirPods allow you to use a shortcut to activate commands with Siri. You can easily change it if necessary
Step one: The first thing you need to do is to open the Settings on your iPhone. After that, you need to tap on Bluetooth to proceed

Step two: Once you are done, select your AirPods and tap on the toggle next to Automatic Ear Detection to turn it off.

You can easily choose which microphone is being used by your new AirPods. Here is how you can do it:
Step one: Open the Settings app and tap on Bluetooth
Step two: Once you are done, tap on Microphone to proceed
Step three: You are now presented with three settings including Automatically Switch AirPods, Always Left AirPod, Always Right AirPod. All you need to do now is to choose your preferred option and tap on the Back button.
