Depending on your settings, you can choose to save photos from Snapchat using 2 ways: Saving photos to your Memories or saving them to Camera Rolls in Photos. Specifically, you can save Snapshat photos to your Camera Roll by performing a quick tap. And, you can save Snapchat photos to your Memories by going into your Memories to save the photo to your Photos album on iPhone. Besides, a photo can be saved to both your Memories and Camera Roll.
How to Change where photos are saved in Snapchat
Step 1: First off, open the Snapchat app
Step 2: Next, you need to open your profile by tapping the ghost icon in the upper left corner
Step 3: Then, you need to open Settings by tapping the gear icon in the upper right corner
Step 4: Affer that, you have to tap on Memories, then tap Save To
Step 5: Here, you now need to select Memories to save photos to Memories
Step 6: Now, save your Snapchat photos to your Camera Roll by tapping Camera Roll Only
Step 7: Lastly, you can save your Snapchat photos to both places by tapping Memories & Camera Roll.
In case, you want to save a lot of photos to your Camera Roll from Snapchat, you should select either Camera Roll Only or both.
How to Save a Photo Straight to Camera Roll
Step 1: First off, in the settings of Snapchat, you have to use the info above to select Save To either Camera Roll Only or Memories & Camera Roll
Step 2: Now, you need to navigate to camera view and then, take your photo
Step 3: Next, you need to tap the icon in the bottom of the photo (it looks like a downward arrow above a line)
Now, your photo will save to Camera Roll or All Photos.
How to Save a Photo from Memories
Step 1: You can visit Memories and save photos to your iPhone when you select Save to either Memories or Memories & Camera Roll in Snapchat settings.
Step 2: Next, you need to tap the small circle below the shutter button at the bottom of the screen to open Memories from camera view in Snapchat
Step 3: Then, you now need to select the photo you want to save to Photos
Step 4: Once you are done, tap Edit & Send at the bottom of the screen
Step 5: Now, you have to select the icon (it looks like an upward arrow in an open box)
Step 6: Lastly, you simply need to tap Save Image.
