iOS 10 brings a lot of changes and updates. One of such change is widgets which can be accessed by swiping right on the lock screen. You now have weather, calendar events, news, maps and everything you have enabled from the settings. Battery widget is one of must-have widgets, as it allows you to check the charge status of AirPods and charging case.
However, what if your battery widget is suddenly missing from your lock screen even if you have enabled it from the list of widgets. In this guide, we will run you through the steps to bring back battery widget in iOS 10 on your iPhone
Steps to bring back battery widget in iOS 10 on your iPhone
Step one: First off, you need to access the lock screen on your iPhone. To do this, you simply need to swipe right from left on the screen
Step two: Once you are done, you are supposed to scroll down and tap on Edit button to proceed.
Step three: Next up, tap on the red button on the left-hand side of batteries widget and tap on the Remove button
Step four: All you need to do now is to tap on Done at the top right corner of the screen.
Step five: Once you are done, batteries widget will show up under the More Widget section. You simply need to repeat the step 1 and step 2, and tap on the “+” left to batteries widget, tap and hold the rearrange button and then drag the widget at the top. Once everything is done, tap Done at the top-right corner to confirm
Step six: You are now supposed to reboot your device by pressing and holding the on/off button and Volume buttons at the same time on iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus
Step seven: Once your device finishes rebooting, head to Lock screen and battery widget should show up here.
If battery widget remains hidden, try resetting your device. To do this, head to Settings, tap on General > Reset > Reset all Settings
